Downpour

Well, I finished the last post and Becca said it was pouring.

STRONG THUNDERSTORMS TO AFFECT THE WASHINGTON METROPOLITAN AREA
AS WELL AS LOWER SOUTHERN MARYLAND LATE THIS MORNING
AT 952 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS THAT EXTENDED FROM NEAR VIENNA VIRGINIA SOUTHWEST TO
RUBY VIRGINIA...MOVING EAST-SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH.
THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY DOWNPOURS ALONG WITH CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING. SOME STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WIND
GUSTS AROUND 40 MPH ALONG WITH SMALL HAIL.
THE COMMUNITIES OF WEST MCLEAN...MERRIFIELD...DUNN
LORING...ARLINGTON...BALLSTON...WASHINGTON DC...STAFFORD...REAGAN
NATIONAL AIRPORT AND BROOKE WILL BE AFFECTED BY THESE STORMS.
REST OF TODAY
NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS UNTIL NOON...THEN
PARTLY SUNNY WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THIS
AFTERNOON. HIGHS IN THE MID 90S. WEST WINDS 5 TO 10 MPH. CHANCE OF
RAIN 60 PERCENT.

MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
