My father liked
World War I aircraft, so I thought of him when I saw these in the collection at the
Air and Space Museum. He built scale models, some of which I have, perhaps of some of the aircraft pictured here.

The Halberstadt CLIV and the SPAD.

Dad worked at
Lockheed in
Burbank for essentially his entire working life. I think he worked on the
Constellation, known by its triple rudder tail, visible behind the
Concorde.
